CaliSummit unites Californians interested in working together toward the common goal of regaining Health Freedom in our state.  Our movement has endured significant growing pains and continues to learn. While we are exploding with new activists the intention of the CaliSummit events is to create a new paradigm centered on collaboration. We strive for inclusivity and integrity while envisioning the future.

What you need to know

CaliSummit

Dear California Health Advocate,

In 2015, CaliSummit was created for the purpose of uniting California activists, advocates and organizations with the shared goal of protecting and broadening health freedom.

At previous CaliSummits, attendees gathered for the participant-driven “conference” utilizing Open Space Technology. The goal is to get to know each other, follow a schedule designed to enhance experience, focus on important tasks and purposes, and emerge with a clear purpose and action plan.

You may have heard of some of the impressive organizations and projects that were initiated at one of the previous four CaliSummits. The feedback from attendees has been extremely positive and many participants return year after year because they value the relationships they developed and the progress they have made through powerful discussions within the CaliSummit large and small group circles.

CaliSummit has been described as a “Harvesting Event” where leaders who are passionate about similar issues explore possibilities, ask questions, cultivate ideas, and make decisions about future projects. Open Space is an efficient way of brainstorming ideas and mapping out plans first in a large circle, and then in small circles. Each participant is free to focus on one topic within a small group, or to bounce around to various small groups with different agreed upon topics. Participants have expressed appreciation for the facilitation process that maintains an egalitarian space.

Join us at CaliSummit #5 to meet your fellow health freedom advocates and activists, and the many organizations doing phenomenal work that may be a perfect fit for your aspirations.
